Vegetable mind of our region

Knowledge and experience from our vegetable growing tradition have flowed into some projects in the region. In 1965, local vegetable farmers founded the soil & irrigation association, which, unique in this size, supplies the area from Speyer to Frankenthal with water through ring lines. For decades the " DLR Rheinpfalz " in Neustadt with the trial farm "Queckbrunnerhof" has been dedicated in Schifferstadt for agricultural cultivation advice, vocational training, research and rural development.
